Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT)


Virtual Instructor-Led Training courses are available to be requested anytime between 9:30 am - 3:30 pm AEST to accommodate wider time zones.

Course 1:  VESDA Accreditation. AUS

This course is designed for fire industry practitioners, fire engineers and specifiers to provide them with the knowledge to optimise the use of VESDA in all aspects of fire detection to protect life and property. This course covers Aspire and VSC software for the design, maintenance and service of VESDA systems.
Accreditation is valid for three years

Duration: 2 days; Cost:  $450+GST per person


Course 2:  VESDA Re-Certification. AUS

Recertification is an online course comprising five modules with a quiz for each module. After the five modules, you will receive accreditation for a further two years.

Face to Face training will occur regularly throughout the year, but the prerequisite to attending Face to face training will be the attendance of the online VILT course. Face to face training will be entirely practical and will cover the advanced features of the equipment.

Duration: 1 day; Cost:  $250+GST per person


Course 3: Onyx AFP-3030 fire alarm control panel 

Notifier Onyx AFP-3030 is an intelligent Fire Alarm Control Panel designed for medium- to large-scale facilities. Fire emergency detection and evacuation are extremely critical to life safety, and the AFP-3030 is ideally suited for these applications.

Day 1: Onyx AFP-3030 Testing and Service training

  • For those new to Notifier addressable panels. Installers, testers and service technicians will find this most useful as the course gives an understanding of panel functions, fault finding and basic programming.  

Day 2: Onyx AFP-3030 Programming training

  • For fire technicians looking to learn about Notifier’s addressable panels and advanced features. Installers and service technicians new to Notifier panel programming will find this most useful as the course gives a technical and programming perspective. 

Duration: 2 days; Cost: $400+GST per person


Course 4:  Notifier I-2000 Installers Course

Technicians are required to install and service Emergency Warning and Intercommunication Systems. This course provides an overview of basic principles of operation. Concentrates on the practical service and maintenance requirements of I2000 equipment; Fault finding on the various components of the system, including speaker, strobe and paging console wiring.

Duration: 1 day; Cost:  $180+GST per person
